Consult your healthcare professional before using any of our products. - If you have had a serious stomach problem (ulcers) in the past. - You should continue to take CELEBREX as prescribed even when you are feeling better. CELEBREX can be taken with or without food. - Methotrexate (a medicine used to suppress the immune system). - In Osteoarthritis, the recommended dose for CELEBREX is 100 - 200 mg a day. CELEBREX delivers 24-hour relief from a once-daily dose of 200 mg. Include on your medical history/personal profile all of the other medicines you are taking or plan to take while you are on CELEBREX, even other medicines that you can get without a prescription. - Rifampin (an antibiotic). - Serious allergic reactions including swelling of the face, lips, tongue, and/or throat which may cause difficulty breathing or swallowing and wheezing occur rarely but may require treatment right away. Severe skin reactions have also been reported. This medication may be taken with food or immediately after meals to prevent stomach upset. Take this as directed. Do not increase your dose or take it more often than prescribed. This medication provides temporary relief and must be used in addition to rest, physical therapy and other measures. Because this medication makes an injury temporarily feel better, do not attempt to lift or exercise too soon. Follow your doctor's instructions for recovery. ALCOHOL WARNING: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take Vioxx or other pain relievers/fever reducers. This medicine may cause stomach bleeding.
